JAILmake’s ‘Plantable’ table is a must-see; Constructed from a bent wire framework with an Oak top, there is space for four plants to grow inside the legs. Once your plants have crept up inside the framework and have ventured around the edges of the tabletop, you’ll be left with a ‘living’ table that appears to be floating on greenery.
The JAILmake duo says that the Plantable: “…reintroduces nature back into the experience of gathering, cooking and eating a meal. It takes a currently domesticated object and enables nature to claim it back. Tomatoes, herbs, sweet peas and climbers work best.”
